Auto detailing is a thorough cleaning, decontamination, and protection service for a vehicle's interior and exterior surfaces. Unlike a standard car wash, professional detailing involves hand-washing with pH-safe products, decontamination of brake dust and road film, steam-cleaning and extraction of interior fabrics, leather conditioning, glass polishing inside and out, and application of paint sealants or protective coatings. At The Recon Pros, detailing is performed in the same Huntington Beach studio where we install Revivify self-healing coatings — which means our standard of surface preparation is higher than most volume detailing shops. We offer Express Exterior details, Full Interior and Exterior details, and Deep Interior Restorations for heavily soiled or resale-prep vehicles. Detailing cleans and protects; it does not remove paint defects such as swirls and scratches — that requires paint correction. For clients who have had paint correction or a Revivify coating installed, we offer monthly, quarterly, and annual maintenance membership plans to preserve the result long-term.
